Sedimentology of peat, biochemical and geochemical stages of coalification and oxidation of coal. Use of organic matter as a geothermometer and inbasinal analysis. Structural analysis and character of coal deposits. Analytical methods applied to coal. This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.
