The commercial aircraft you are flying today is an Airbus A340 wide-body jet airliner.  It has 4 jet engines, and is used for long-range (12,000 to 16,000 km) flights including flights across oceans.   Typical cruise speeds are Mach 0.82 (= 871 km/hour =  541 mph) at altitudes up to 12.5 km (= 41,000 feet).  It was built in 1999 in Toulouse, France.  Current prices to buy used A340 aircraft range from US$ 5 Million to US$ 24 Million, or you can lease one for about US$ 200,000/month.

It requires a piloting crew of 2 people (pilot/captain and co-pilot/first-officer).  There are typically about 10 flight attendants on each flight.  The aircraft you are flying today is configured to carry nearly 300 passengers.

When coming in to land, target approach aircraft speed is 140 knots indicated airspeed, decreasing to 135 knots just as the aircraft flys over the runway threshold (the start of the runway).  In windy conditions, the max allowed crosswind component when landing on a wet runway is 15 knots.  The max allowed crosswind is reduced to 10 knots if the runway is very wet with poor braking action.

Your aircraft is in good working order.
