Based on our fossils and their relative positions, we have established that the area of our study was likely the [?] coast line of the [?]. At the time our samples were deposited, the sea was "shallow", but still deep enough for our [?] fossil to occur. We now know that these fossils were deposited during the [?] period. Also, the sea level at this time and at our location appears to have been , also referred to as a marine [?].

While no single set of 5 fossils will tell the whole story, it is pretty remarkable how, with just a few fossils, knowledge about living and fossilization environments and some logic, we can significantly constrain our understanding about the geological history of this part of British Columbia!
