Paul J. Harrison announced winner of Timothy R. Parsons medal

At the Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society's 2014 congress in Rimouski, the winner of the Timothy R. Parsons award for excellence in Ocean Sciences was announced.The medal will be presented to Paul J. Harrison in Vancouver by the assistant deputy minister for Fisheries and Oceans (DFO). This award was established by DFO to recognize a Canadian scientist for outstanding lifetime contributions to multidisciplinary facets of ocean sciences or for a recent exceptional achievement, while working within a Canadian institution.
