About me: Birgit Rogalla

I'm a graduate student at the University of British Columbia, studying numerical modelling and physical oceanography of the Arctic Ocean, specifically the Canadian Arctic Archipelago and Baffin Bay. My research interest lies broadly in applying physics to study natural systems and as a result, I did research in fluvial geomorphology and experimental cosmology before arriving in oceanography.

When I'm not sitting in front of a computer, you can probably find me somewhere in the mountains.
