GeoConvention is a unique experience to learn about the latest technologies, workflows and advancements in Geosciences. Beyond the traditional technical sessions covering all things geology, geophysics and petrophysics, 2018 will take a holistic approach with our program and offer diverse content highlighting many areas of our energy industry.
The QWMN Fellow is required to work collaboratively in ARI, and align to the objectives of the QWMN. The appointee will provide high-level technical and research expertise for modelling of the Great Barrier Reef, particularly in the estuarine and receiving water environment, building on knowledge, capacity and models that have been developed for the Reef.

Reporting to the Monitoring & Compliance Panel (M & C Panel) Program Manager, this position is responsible for i) implementing a three-year M & C Panel initiative to improve Chinook and Coho catch monitoring in recreational and aboriginal fisheries in the southern waters of the Strait of Georgia and the Fraser Basin; and ii) supporting the Program Manager by providing secretariat support to the M & C Panel.
