Physical Oceanography Modelling Research Scientist position at Bedford Institute of Oceanography, Fisheries and Ocean Canada

Specific aspects of the duties include:

- Contribute to the development of regional ocean models at basin, coastal and nearshore scales based on a state-of-the-art community ocean modelling platform;
- Improve the performance of existing regional models within Fisheries and Oceans Canada
- Evaluate model performance through joint analysis of model results and observational data
- Lead or collaborate with scientists participating in related research and development projects
- Provide external collaborators with technical support and advice
- Write peer-reviewed scientific articles and prepare scientific documents for publication in the form of in-house technical notes and presentations.
