Sea Sick, The Global Ocean in Crisis

Sea Sick, Alanna Mitchell’s critically acclaimed and Dora-nominated production about the state of the global ocean, premiered at The Theatre Centre in 2014 and has since toured across Canada and the world. Mitchell is an award-winning Canadian journalist and author who writes about science and social trends specializing in investigative reporting. Sea Sick is inspired by her international bestselling and award-winning book of the same name.

Four Permanent Positions, The Canadian Space Agency

Program Scientist, Sun-Earth System Sciences (two positions): Responsible, among other things, for assisting in the planning, execution, study of acquired data and conclusions of the science component of Sun-Earth System Science missions, studies and related activities, by coordinating and leading the work of external scientific teams and provision of Sun-Earth System Science expertise to CSA management and stakeholders.

Program Scientist, Missions and Instruments Development for Earth Observation (two positions): Responsible, among other things, for conducting research to develop theories and technologies applicable to the domain of expertise, implementing results of latest advances to develop new applications, designing and implementing facilities, simulators to support pertinent research to the development of new instruments and algorithms for future science missions in the branch portfolio.
