Description/Abstract Provincial governments across Canada employ meteorologists on a full-time basis to provide emergency management teams with specialized weather forecasts and information. You’re invited to join Jesse Ellis (from the BC Wildfire Management Branch) for an informal seminar about the nature of the work as a fire-weather forecaster, future opportunities, locations, and pay. He will be available afterwards until about noon in the same room to answer individual questions.
