Research
My research interests lie in the diversity of viruses infecting microbial eukaryotes (protists) in marine environments. By isolating novel viruses and carrying out bioinformatic analyses of viral genomes and metagenomes, I hope to learn more about marine viruses in terms of their ecological functions, interactions with hosts, and evolutionary implications.
