Girls SySTEM Mentorship Opportunity for Graduate Students

Girls SySTEM Mentorship - a non-profit organization based in Canada that strives to bridge the gap between men and women in STEM. The program provides a space for young women interested in STEM by pairing self-identifying young women in grades 7-12 (ages 12-18) with professional mentors from a diverse range of STEM fields. We rely on the help of our mentors who are eager to nurture female innovators towards professional development and diversify the landscape of the STEM workforce.

Our applications to become a mentor for the 24/25 program year are now open. Visit our website and apply to become a mentor. We ask that mentors are able to commit 1-2 hours a month and provide a police record check upon completing an application. Our program is hybrid, therefore we provide virtual and in-person opportunities to accommodate everyone. Mentor applications close on September 20th, 2024.

After the application process, mentors will be paired with a mentee based on shared academic interests and goals, hobbies, and overall compatibility.

More information can be found on our website. Please feel free to reach out to vancouver@girlsystemmentorship.com with any questions.
