MSc Geological Sciences

EOS-South 354
graduate

For my MSc research at UBC I investigated the relationship between a Neoproterozoic nepheline syenite and a nearby REE- and HFSE-mineral bearing metasomatic aureole located in SE Yukon. To investigate the petrogenesis of the two units, I analyzed rock samples from each unit using methods involving petrography, mineralogy, mineral chemistry, geochemistry, and in situ U-Pb zircon geochronology.
