M.Sc. Student Opportunities in Green Energy, Critical Metal Deposits - University of Manitoba

We invite applications for 2 M.Sc. projects in critical metal deposits in Nova Scotia. On March 11, 2021, the government of Canada published its list of critical elements also referred to as critical minerals. These minerals are essential for the development of green energy and technology, and are considered integral to lowering our carbon footprint. Lowering our carbon footprint has considerable social and economic benefits. These projects will give students the opportunity to be involved in research that has direct benefits to society.

The research will involve both laboratory and field studies in Nova Scotia. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Please contact Dr. Mostafa Fayek ( ) or Dr. Alfredo Camacho ( ) for more information. Stipends are competitive. The position is available starting January 2022.
