Sustainability Coordinators - Science Undergraduate Society

The Science Undergraduate Society is currently looking for Sustainability Coordinators! This is a valuable opportunity to students who wish to develop more professional skills and provides them with an opportunity to apply sustainability concepts that they may have learned in class or through past experiences. In addition, this is a great way to create positive change within the Society, which services over 8,000 undergraduate students in the Faculty of Science.

Postdoc Position on Nordic Seas Paleogenomics - NORCE in Bergen (Norway)

The Climate Department of NORCE Norwegian Research Centre in Bergen, Norway is seeking a highly motivated candidate to strengthen a research group working on paleogenomics, paleoceanography and molecular ecology, mainly in the Arctic and Nordic Seas.

The position is available in the Polish–Norwegian research project “Sedimentary ancient DNA – a new proxy to investigate the impact of environmental changes on past and present biodiversity in Nordic Seas (NEEDED)”. The project is funded through an EEA and Norway Grant – Basic Research Program GRIEG.

Virtual Cordilleran Geoscience Workshop

Cordilleran Geoscience: A 2020 perspective, originally planned for March 2020, has been rescheduled as a virtual workshop. Devoted to the latest research about the geology, geophysics, metallogeny, and mineral deposits of the Cordillera, the workshop will be held as a Zoom conference on October 5, 2020 from 9:00 am to 2:45 pm (PST).
