Assistant Professor in Climate Modelling - University of Cambridge

We invite applications for an Assistant Professor in Climate Modelling to join our friendly and dynamic department.

We encourage applications from individuals with expertise in the use of numerical modelling to understand the Earth's climate system, with an emphasis on the use of numerical models to translate our understanding of the Earth's past climate system into solutions to Earth's present and future climate challenges.

We are keen to offer opportunities, where possible, to people from groups who are currently underrepresented in Earth Sciences in the UK.

Age-uncertain Data Analysis Workshop

School of Earth & Sustainability at the Northern Arizona University will be hosting a free, online hackathon on geoChronR on Feb 8 and 9, covering topics including age modelling, and age uncertain correlation, regression, principal components analysis and spectral analysis.
